This is where you’ll find all of the homes for sale in the Bethlehem Area School District, one of the largest school districts in the Lehigh Valley.  The Bethlehem Area School District covers the City of Bethlehem, the Boroughs of Fountain Hill and Freemansburg, and Bethlehem Township and Hanover Township. The district’s students attend two High Schools, four Middle Schools and sixteen Elementary Schools.

The school district has two high schools, Liberty and Freedom.

Liberty is the larger of two public high schools in the Bethlehem Area School District, with Freedom High School being the other. Liberty’s current attendance area includes students from the City of Bethlehem, Fountain HillFreemansburg, and Hanover Township.

In the 2014-2015 academic year, Liberty High School had 2,749 students and 156 full-time teachers.

In 1966 the school district created a new high school to meet the needs of the growing district. Students at Liberty High School who were scheduled to attend the new high school picked the name (Freedom) and mascot (Patriot) of the future Freedom Senior High School. They also picked the school colors of black and gold. Freedom High School has a total student population of about 1,800 students.

The area is also served by Bethlehem Catholic High School, more commonly referred to as Becahi or just Beca, is a parochial high school, located in Bethlehem within the Diocese of Allentown. The school is located at 2133 Madison Avenue.

Bethlehem Catholic currently has several dozen International Students enrolled from China, France, Germany, Korea and Venezuela.
